Dr. Pavlik

“My love for Veterinary medicine and animals began with following my grandfather (a veterinarian) as I grew up in rural Nebraska. He served as my inspiration to pursue this career. After graduating from Kansas State University, I traveled to California to practice in the San Gabriel Valley. My family and I enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer. Playing tennis, cycling and sports officiating are some of the activities I enjoy all year long. Our hospital in Rosemead, and subsequently, in Temple City, has served our community for over thirty-five years. I especially enjoy the challenges of surgery and geriatric diagnostics. Treating our exotic patients such as snakes and birds is becoming a specialty of our hospital. Our goal is to provide the most innovative care possible to our clients, and to honor the unique relationship between owners and their pets.” – J.O. Pavlik

Dr. Nasser

Dr. Joni Nasser has been with Community Companion Animal Hospital since graduating from UC Davis in 2006. Prior to veterinary school, she worked in human medicine as a paramedic. Dr. Nasser is a supporter of the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) program and has personally TNR’ED over 30 feral cats. She is also an advocate for hospice care for pets and believes quality of life is as important as quantity. In her free time, Dr. Nasser enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and their cats, listening to jazz music and hiking in the Lake Tahoe area.

Dr. Brockmeier

Dr. Brockmeier is a graduate of Western University of Health Science and has been with Community Companion since 2010. She has a love for working with all animals but specializes in avian medicine. Dr. Brockmeier has two pets of her own. A goffin cockatoo named Ophella, and a tiny parakeet named Hamlet.
